Steven was born in Kitchener,
Ontario, however was used to fast-paced change
from an early age and had moved all over the country
by age 12. From the age of 12, his roots were
firmly planted in the Greater Hamilton area, growing
up in Burlington and taking his formal training
at Humber College of Applied Arts and Services.
His
studies both academic and cultural have resulted
in trips around the world to such exotic places
as Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Once back in North America, he has focused his culinary direction on the pursuit of refining his trend setting Franco-Asian style in some of the best restaurants and hotels in North America. His most recent experience was at The Queen's Landing Inn and Conference Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake, with Chef de Cuisine Stephen Treadwell.
His culinary style and commitment to organic and heirloom farming are a welcome breath of fresh air to the local community.
